Wake a Thon Held Last Night

Last Nights 2nd Annual Wake a Thon was a huge success. Approximately 50 youth of St.Lawrence enjoyed numerous of activities, including playing cards, Just Dance 3 (Xbox 360), ping pong and much more. Big thank you to the St.Lawrence Community Youth Network which hosted the event and incorporated us into their event. Thanks everyone for your generous support!

Stop the Drama in Africa will be joining with St.Lawrence Community Youth Network to hold our 2nd Annual Wake-a-Thon on January 27th from 12pm to 6am. Anyone wishing to make a donation, contact any of the Board Members

A Dollar For A Scholar Day

STDA Board of Directors would like to thank the students of St.Lawrence Academy, Holy Name of Mary Academy and Marystown Central High School for raising over $400 towards Stop the Drama in Africa's efforts. Greatly appreciate the support of the teachers and students in this fundraiser!

A Dollar for A Scholar Day

Stop the Drama in Africa is asking students throughout the Burin Peninsula to bring in $1 to donate to their efforts on Wednesday, Dec.14th.

This will give the students throughout the Burin Peninsula to particpate in this great cause.

Two New Projects - Expanding throughout the Province

After concluding our 7th Board Meeting, Stop the Drama in Africa announces two new projects. The first project called Stop the Drama in Africa Groups was created to allow other areas of Newfoundland to participate in Stop the Drama in Africa and help those innocent children. Any group of people can apply to create Stop the Drama in Africa Group. The second project is Stop the Drama in Africa Volunteer Members, this will allow youth and adults to volunteer with Stop the Drama Africa fundraisers. People interested may apply and will be contacted when we need help arranging a fundraiser.

Duties: *Attend Monthly Board Meetings
           *Help with Fundraisers
           *Share your ideas (Every idea is welcome)
